tutorial 01: #53 from The Duchess post

Here is a tut that was requested from The Duchess post. I don't keep my .psd files so it ended up a little different from the original but it is the general gist of what I did, and every picture needs screwing around with individually anyway. Also, nota bene: I played around with using and creating my own tables in this post so please tell me if I frelled up (it's a public post, I'm being nice), thanks.
Anyway, here you go, sorry it took so long.

how to get this:

01.
After cropping, lightening, sharpening, etc your base, duplicate it and set the new layer to soft light.
-->

02.
A new Channel Mixer Layer (Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Channel Mixer). With these numbers:
RED: red +125; green -5; blue -25
GREEN: red 0; green +110; blue -5
BLUE: red +15; green +15; blue +90

03.
Again duplicate your base, move it to the top and set it to luminosity.

04.
A new Color Balance Layer (Layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Color Balance). With these numbers:
SHADOWS: 0; 0; 0
MIDTONES: +15; -5; -15
HIGHLIGHTS: 0; 0; -10

05.
I then created a new layer and used the gradient tool to make a small white circle over the flower in her hair.
I set this layer to Screen at 40%. (I've included the gradient itself so you can see what I mean.)
