My best friend got me into Firefly and then it proceeded to Mal/River. I love them and their subtext is awesome!

Ten/Martha is the greatest...I'm not sure my OTP but pretty damn close.

I was raised on Britcoms, Masterpiece Theater, and Mystery! I blame my mother completely. :D

Mal/River is amazing subtext. And in Serenity there was such room for development.

Also spike, which leads to more Whedon. So YAY! Whedon=Awesome.
